A fellow members family needs help!

Merryl Dray

Merryl Dray, one of our SES volunteers has passed away while responding to a call for assistance in Coolana on Friday night.

 

Merryl (62) was a much loved member of the Lowood SES Group where she volunteered more than 520 hours of her time over the last four and a half years. Merryl was trained in storm damage response, first aid and traffic control and was passionate about help her community.

 

Consequently, the Queensland State Emergency Service Volunteer Association has opened a bank account for Merryl’s family and in conjunction with Queensland State Emergency Service are inviting not only the orange community but the community far and wide to help raise funds to assist Merryl Family.
